1.

Therapy for Kids

I work with children 4 and up. I use a variety of techniques to keep them engaged and to build rapport. I utilize CBT, play therapy, art therapy, TF-CBT, EMDR, and talk therapy. We also play a lot of Uno, make positive affirmation posters, and laugh a lot!

2.

Therapy for Teens

I work with teenagers presenting with symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, self harm behaviors, ADHD, etc. Teens generally think I'm pretty cool and we are able to build a good, strong relationship that fosters growth and insight.

3.

Therapy for Women

I work with women of all ages and help them address anything from Trauma to Anxiety to co-parenting issues. Claiming a spot on my couch is like having scheduled appointments with your (highly educated and trained) bestie.

Therapy Sessions
My Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it’s built on a real, caring relationship. My approach is relationship based and eclectic. Every person who sits across from me deserves a therapeutic experience tailored specifically to their life and their needs. I aim to create a space where we can develop a mutual, trusting partnership, one where you feel safe enough to be your authentic self.

I have extensive experience supporting children, teens, and women through the ups and downs of life. I specialize in treating trauma, and I am formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or family conflicts, I bring a toolkit designed to help you find your footing again. I also have a deep heart for working with postpartum mood disorders and supporting individuals within the ASD community.

To help you get where you want to go, I draw from a variety of methods including Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and CBT. We might lean into Strengths-Based Therapy to remind you of your own resilience, or use Mindfulness to find some calm in the chaos. Whatever the session calls for, we will figure it out together.

About me

My name is Ashley and I have been a therapist for almost 12 years. I have my MSW from Grand Valley State University and for undergrad I attended Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!)

I have always been passionate about mental health and helping children and women in various capacities. I have experience working in Domestic Violence Shelters, the Family Court System, Residential Facilities, Foster Care, and Home Based Therapy.

You're doing the brave thing
(and it looks good on you!)

Let’s be honest, reaching out to a stranger to talk about your inner world can be totally unnerving and difficult, but it’s also where the magic happens. Showing up for yourself in this way is a massive act of bravery, and I want to honor the courage it took just to land on this page. I’m here to help you navigate the messy, beautiful business of being human with a little less "should" and a lot more "aha!"

Ready to dive in? Here’s how we can start:

  • The 15-Minute "Vibe Check": A free, low-pressure phone chat to see if our personalities click (because therapy is way better when you actually like your therapist).

  • The Deep Dive: Skip the small talk and book a full intake session so we can start rolling up our sleeves and get to work right away.
