It's nice to meet you!
My journey into mental health began in a high school psychology classroom, sparking a lifelong fascination with the human experience. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding how specialized support can transform lives.

While studying at Indiana University I volunteered weekly at a domestic violence shelter daycare. This experience opened my eyes to trauma and its profound impact on kids. After graduating, I returned to Grand Rapids and began working in a residential facility for children with Autism and developmental disabilities. The work I did there inspired me to seek my graduate degree at GVSU in social work.

I have since worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, a Foster Care Behavioral Specialist, and as a Home Based Therapist. I am an advocate. If you (or your kiddos) are my client, I am in your corner. I’m happy to coordinate with your school, your doctor, or the court system to ensure your care is seamless and supportive.

On a Personal Note: When I’m not in the office, I’m likely on an adventure with my three kiddos and our dog, Pickles. I’m a fan of sunny travel and getting lost in a good book. Having navigated my own journey with anxiety, depression, and the life changing power of EMDR, I bring a deep, lived empathy to my practice. I don’t just know the clinical side of therapy, I know the courage it takes to show up for it.
